Engineering/Design  
Georgia Machine's staff is fully qualified and experienced in the task of problem solving.  Whether the task is well defined or sketched on the back of a napkin, we can take it from concept to final product. 

CADD - Computer Aided Drafting and Design
Georgia Machine's CADD operator uses two of the industries standards AutoCAD and CadKey for all design and drafting work.  That means we can accept data files in several formats such as DXF, IGES, etc. from customers via E-Mail, Disk, or CD.  Featuring Floating Point Precision, these programs are capable of accuracy up to .0001 and can export geometry directly to most any CAM system.

CAM - Computer Aided Manufacturing
Using the professional CAM programs G-Zero and SurfCAM 99, a part's geometry is converted into three dimensional computer graphics for visual and mathematical inspection prior to generating final CNC codes for 2-4 axis machining.  

CNC - Computer Numerical Control
Today's Machine Tools are capable of performing tasks repeatedly with little or no loss of accuracy.  CNC allows our machinists to make parts faster and with more precision than conventional machines.  In addition, CNC Machines support input from CAM programs such as G-Zero saving time and money.
